Additional suggestions:

[          Enjoy it! -don't feel guilty, whatever you've decided to eat

[          Foods prepared as soups and stews, casseroles etc are more supportive

[          Relax and enjoy your meal, try to avoid doing other activities at the same time take the time to chew well and digest your food

[          Don’t drink large amounts with your meal, one warm drink is sufficient

[          Eat the main meal early -the system naturally slows down during the evening and food will remain around for longer if it is eaten late

[          Stop just before you are full -overeating creates a queue of stagnant food

[          Choose locally grown, organic foods where possible, enjoy fresh foods, try not to use the microwave as the only means of cooking

[          Try to have some breakfast, going without is a bit like running your car without petrol it doesn't work as well ! !
